Tonight is the BIG night, this is my super bowl, I could not be ANY more excited. One of these days I will have an OSCAR party. Let me just say, I like Anne Hathaway. I dont adore her and I dont think she's an amazing actress, but I like her and generally she wears VERY pretty dresses so I am excited to see what she wears tonight. Here are some of her past dresses.

I hate cars, sometimes
I live on Long Island and hence MUST have a car. This last one has been giving me quite a headache as of late. Tires, wheels...who knew there was a difference, rims, hubcaps, come on who cares?!?!?!!? And then on Friday, while putting something in my trunk, my own car tried to decapitate me. Remember those old school cartoons where bugs bunny would hit someone on the head with a mallet and they would grow a big ole bump...that was me. The boy asked what my dream car was the other day...I said one with a driver!

Another Dress
And while yes, I know this is not the OSCARS I love this dress, the entire look, I just cant get over how perfect it is and how much its ME! The black dress with a pop of color (me), the hair back in a messy thing (me-and I can hear my mom giving me crap for that), simple makeup (me), no earrrings or necklace b/c of that amazing neckline (me). See what I mean?

$263 Million...small potatoes
So, I have been looking at buying a place, with a budget of max $500,000. I stumbled upon this little gem of a place.
3 islands near Positano...I just wont even consider it if the Helicoptor is NOT included. I am pretty sure its a resort and not a private home, since it says there are 19 bedrooms and it looks like a restaurant on one of the terraces.

Again, for you, my love...
Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering
And if the man who once upon a time had been a boy who promised he'd never fall in love with another girl as long as he lived kept his promise, it wasn't because he was stubborn or even loyal. He couldn't help it."
Wittgenstein once wrote that when the eye sees something beautiful, the hand wants to draw it. I wish I could draw you."
When you are young, you think it's going to be solved by love. But it never is. Being close -- as close as you can get -- to another person only makes clear that impassable distance between you.'
If being in love only made people more lonely, why would everyone want it so much?'
Because of the illusion. You fall in love, it's intoxicating, and for a little while you feel like you've actually become one with the other person. Merged souls and so on. You think you'll never be lonely again."
Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering"
For her I changed pebbles into diamonds, shoes into mirrors, I changed glass into water, I gave her wings and pulled birds from her ears and in her pockets she found the feathers, I asked a pear to become a pineapple, a pineapple to become a lightbulb, a lightbulb to become the moon, and the moon to become a coin I flipped for her love..."
I could go on, FOREVER about this book, THE HISTORY OF LOVE by Nicole Krauss. Have you read it, WHAT, you havent?!?!?!?! Please, do yourself an ENORMOUS favor and get this book and read this book...it will change your life!

No Sleep till...
The Brooklyn Renegade Craft Fair is coming back, just in time for my birthday, June 11 & 12 (thats when the craft fair is, my birthday is not, sadly, 2 days, just one, June 14th and yes, that is FLAG DAY, but I have digressed...). And while I have never been and I have no crafts to sell, I will be going, as a shopper, a VERY happy shopper. Loves me some Brooklyn time.
